JPG to PDF

Merge several images into one PDF document

Choose your imagesTap or click the box — a file picker opens. You can also drag a file onto it.JPG, PNG or WEBP — pick several and they are added in the order you select them

Your files stay with you. Conversion happens inside the browser; no file is ever uploaded to a server.

How it works

Each image you pick becomes one page, placed in the order the list shows. With "The image's own size" the page is cut to the exact proportions of each picture, so nothing is cropped and no empty margin appears — useful when your pages are screenshots of different shapes. Choose A4 when the document will be printed or submitted somewhere: the image is centred on a fixed page and its proportions are kept. The quality slider decides the file size. 85 is enough for ordinary paperwork; scanned text stays more legible at 95, and going below 70 makes small print mushy. Photos are embedded as JPEG data, so a picture does not grow simply because it went into a document.

What is JPG?

JPG is what phone cameras produce by default, so almost every photographed document you own — a receipt, an invoice, an ID card, a signed page — is already a JPG. The format compresses a single picture efficiently, which is why it travels well by message and email. The limit is in that word single: one JPG holds one image and nothing else. A five-page document sent as five JPG files leaves the recipient to open five attachments and work out the order for themselves.

What is PDF?

PDF (Portable Document Format) was published in 1993 to solve one problem: a document should look the same on every machine that opens it. Its central idea is the page — content sits on fixed pages instead of reflowing to the screen, so order, layout and print margins survive the trip. That fixity is why offices, schools and public bodies ask for PDF: it is the one format where what you send is provably what the other side prints.

What is the difference between an image file and a PDF?

A JPG represents one picture; a PDF represents a document made of pages. Send images one by one and the ordering, the count and the completeness become the recipient's problem — nothing in the files says which comes first or whether one is missing. In a PDF the pages sit in one file, in a fixed order, with a page count anyone can check. That is the real reason application forms, homework portals and accounting archives ask for PDF rather than photos. This tool does exactly that conversion: it lays each image you selected onto its own page and turns a pile of photographs into a document.

Why your files are not sent to a server

The PDF is assembled inside the browser. Your image data is embedded into the document directly, so the file never travels over the network and we never see it.

In practice that matters for exactly the documents people photograph: identity papers, invoices, contracts, medical results. It also means a dropped connection does not interrupt anything — once the page has loaded, the tool keeps working offline.

Getting the page order right

Images are added in the order you selected them. To move one, remove it with the × button in the list and add it again at the end.

For long documents the easier route is naming: call the files 01, 02, 03 and select them all at once, and they line up in the correct order without any manual fixing.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert a JPG to PDF?

Pick your images in the box, choose a page size and press Build PDF. The document is ready to download straight away — there is no queue and no upload step.

Can I put several photos into one PDF?

Yes. Select as many images as you like; each becomes a separate page and they follow the order shown in the list.

Are PNG and WEBP files accepted too?

Yes. PNG and WEBP images are converted to JPEG before they go into the document, and any transparent area is placed on a white background — PDF pages have no transparency to inherit.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no upload limit because there is no upload; the only ceiling is your device's memory. If you are merging dozens of very high-resolution photos, lowering the quality setting makes the job noticeably faster.
